PREPARING THE INSTALLATION
|
- Take note about your average consume (about 3 tanks).
- The correct way to verify the consumption is the
following one:
- Set up the mile meter in zero and full up the tank
- When tank is empty, check the mileage.
Note down the gallons supplied.
Then calculate ratio: mileage/ gallons supplied
(E.g. 216miles / 11 gallons = 19.64 mls/l) That's your
vehicle's consume.

- INSTALLATION - |
|
Localize the fuel line. This hose starts in
fuel's tank and ends in the carburettor or injection system.
Vehicles with electronic injection system, sometimes, holds two
hoses joined to injection system. (See. Figure 2), one it's for
fuel supply and the other for returning. With engine on check
out which feels colder: that's. the one that run as for fuel
suplly, and on this you should install the device. If there's
only one hose see Fig. 1.

Hug the
FUELAP around the fuel supplier hose,
as close as possible to injection system or carburettor, as
shown in Figs.:1, 2 and 3. |

Fit the device with the huger so that both
pieces remain forehead, attracting one each other.For better
results you may decide to install two devices, one behind the
other; such as it's shown in the photograph). |
